The connection

Actually I would not say there was a connection, I think it was probably more about the camera. I get different reactions when I pull out my camera to take a shot-to some its like a gun, WHOA!! others are interested esp people who are photography enthusiasts. This shot was taken at the Lady Margaret college MCR formal dinner. The college was founded in 1878-quite young (oxfordwise). One notable alumni of the college is Benazir Bhutto.

The name Oxford has its origins from Ox-Oxen and Ford-crossing. The city is where the river thames was so shallow that in ancient times oxens crossed the Thames freely. The University and the city are indistinguishable and it is a very diverse community with people from all over the world coming to get an education.

Haven't been bloggin for a bit bcos of a physical transition I have been going through. I finally managed to take some shots last night at a boat cruise I attended on the thames. The singer was really into her job and the guy playing the violin as well. Its been exhausting and I am still out of breath. Enjoy!!!

I just had to take a picture of this bookshelf belonging to a friend...I was so green with envy. I should have a shelve full of novels too!!!I have bought the entire Shopaholic collection too. Alas!! due to my nomadic lifestyle I do not own a shelve nor can I locate about 50% of my books :-( I love books especially light reads because it transports you to another world.
